In case you were wondering I am still alive! I've been busy working on several different projects recently so that's why I've been awfully quiet.
In the next few days I will update the blog with some new content involving taking the extra step in projects to add that extra touch of pizzazz, and what you can do to make sure your work - especially color work - stays consistent being shown throughout different mediums.
I also have a new tutorial coming in hopefully a little over a week that goes into a little more detail behind some of the cinematic presets.

About Grant
Grant Swanson is a film-maker, editor, director, visual effects artist and colorist with a high level of expertise. He has been making films since he was about ten years old, starting with his neighbor's hand-cranked camera. A few years later he began to integrate visual effects, eventually becoming acquainted with Adobe After Effects (which he has been using for about seven years now). He learned the art and science of digital cinema by spending hundreds of hours reading books, watching countless tutorials on the internet, participating in online forums, viewing dozens of hours of training DVDs, and, most importantly, by spending thousands of hours practicing and making his own films.
